Ha! Totally agree that the picture-people-in-their-underwear shenanigans makes zero sense! It’s pretty much the worst advice ever. The few times I’ve tried that occurred in a room of plump, middle-aged businessmen and it only made me laugh.

Yep, Either I don’t want to see them in their skivvies or I already pictured it, either way I can’t imagine it helping my nerves. You should know, you do way more public speaking than I do.
